Flipkart has been chosen as the most preferred e-commerce platform ahead of Amazon, Snapdeal, Paytm and Shopclues, a latest survey revealed on Wednesday.
The “E-tailing Leadership Index” survey was conducted by research firm RedSeer Consulting for the May-July period.
The quarterly survey was conducted among 3,000 online shoppers across 30 cities and was split between population with equitable distribution of age group and gender.
Flipkart scored the highest in all the three pillars — most trusted brand, best value proposition and great buying experience — on which the overall performance of various etailers was decided in the survey.
The e-commerce giant recently rolled out a new feature called Flipkart assured. The new feature will ensure that consumers get the product after it has been properly checked and verified. Also, the Flipkart Assured items will be offered with speedier service. The company claims that under this programme the majority of Flipkart’s products across all its popular categories will carry the “Flipkart Assured” badge. All products carrying this stamp will go through a rigorous process of six levels of quality checks, and have an accelerated delivery process to Flipkart’s customers.
