Taiwan-based technology major ASUS on Tuesday announced that it has introduced the new Snapdragon 821 SoC in its ZenFone 3 Deluxe smartphone — making it the world’s first smartphone to have the most powerful processor.
Announced at the ‘Z3nvolution’ event at Computex 2016 in Taiwan, the device has a 5.7-inch Full HD (1920 by 1080) Super AMOLED display, a 6GB RAM with UFS 2.0 256GB storage and a 23MP camera featuring the latest Sony IMX318 image sensor.
The device received the flagship processor ahead of other brands in its category, the company said.
